Please say which iPhone you have and which version of iOS, if the problem is something going wrong rather than a question.

Common questions

It says it can't read my photo

The app needs to find two people and enough of their bodies to compare. It will refuse rather than guess, and it tells you which part it couldn't read. The usual causes:

A refusal isn't a verdict on the two of you. It means the photo didn't carry enough information, so a different photo usually fixes it.

Do you have my photos?

No. Nothing leaves your phone. The whole analysis runs on your device, the app has no servers, and it works with the internet switched off — turn on airplane mode and try it. There is no account and nothing is uploaded. The Privacy Policy sets this out in full.

How do I delete everything?

In the app: Settings → Delete all my checks. That erases your history and the thumbnails saved with it, immediately and permanently. Deleting the app removes it too.

If you have iPhone backups switched on, iOS may have included the app's local data in your own iCloud or computer backup. That backup is yours and we have no access to it; you can exclude it in your device settings.

Why is the score marked as uncertain?

When the light, the crop or the number of visible signals means the reading is thin, the app marks the score rather than presenting it as firm. It would rather tell you it isn't sure than make something up.

Is the app free?

Yes. No in-app purchases, no subscription, no adverts.

How old do I have to be?

18 or older. See the Terms of Use.

How accurate is it?

Treat it as entertainment. Reading romantic interest from a single photograph is not a validated method, and the app says so on every result screen and in a section called What we can't tell you. It describes what two bodies were doing in one frame. It cannot tell you what anybody thinks, wants or feels — and a score is never permission.

Reporting a problem with someone's photo

The app has no accounts, no feed and no way to share anything to us or to other users, so there is nothing hosted here to report. If you believe someone has used a photo of you inappropriately, that is a matter between you and them, and the Terms of Use prohibit analyzing photos of children, intimate images, and photos of anyone who would object.

Privacy requests

We hold almost nothing about anyone: no account, no photos, no results, no usage data. The only record we might have is an email you sent us. To ask what we hold or to have it deleted, write to tellsappsupport@gmail.com. Details of your rights are in section 11 of the Privacy Policy.
